The Music Production Process
The chords and lyrics had been formed back in 2021; however the song’s were just released in 2025 – due to The Shoals touring for almost two summers back to back.
It had taken The Shoals months to decide on the tracks to include on their album, as well as a few disputes over which style of music to play, yet ultimately the indie rock genre won the vote!
The lead guitarist, Rhys Williamson, has written each song on The Shoals’ latest album. He stated that “Each band member contributed to the production process in some way (beyond the sound production elements), and as individuals we had taken inspiration from our hometown.”
